45R's signature denim—Sorahikohime—in Noshime. One of 45R's original indigo shade recipes, developed to emulate the deep blue of traditional indigo-dyed silk kimono fabric known as "Noshime." This distinctive shade reflects the elegant depth and richness of classic Japanese Ai dyeing.
Authentic selvedge denim woven on a vintage shuttle loom. A refined appearance that looks as if it has not yet been washed. Sanforized finish—treated to minimize shrinkage and maintain its shape even after exposure to water. The R embroidery on the back pocket is stitched with botanically dyed thread in a color inspired by Edo Kobicha, a traditional Japanese brown once favored in old Tokyo.
