In Kolkata, where the scorching sun beats down on the land and the cool winds of the Indian Ocean blow, the cocoons carefully nurtured were spun into incredibly fine silk.
This elegant silk is meticulously handwoven in Kolkata.
More than 100 warp and weft threads are finely woven per inch, and the threads are so thin that you wouldn't notice if they broke. Skilled artisans carefully connect the threads as they weave.
The fabric is cut little by little and dyed in a vibrant, beautiful indigo blue.
Inspired by Hawaiian leis, it features floral embellishments and a double-layered flared section.
Beautifully hand-sewn in Vietnam.
