This flannel is woven slowly on power looms passed down through generations in South India. Its open, loosely woven texture gives it a simple, rustic look. The indigo yarn used here and there is hand-dyed. Light and comfortable to wear, this is flannel that can no longer be made in Japan — a fabric we want to carry into the future.
