Ai Futatabi 6.5 Sorahikohime Nou

Sorahikohime features a straight silhouette with room through the thighs, designed for men and women of all ages.

Twenty-five years ago, inspired by vintage denim, we undertook repeated trials to develop a five-pocket style woven with thick 6.5-count yarn. The result was a rugged fabric marked by pronounced unevenness and distinctive fades. With the desire to revisit that spirit once more, the cloth was named Futatabi 6.5 “6.5 again.”

From the first touch, the texture speaks for itself firm, irregular, and expressive. The indigo is naturally dyed using Awa Ai from Tokushima, Japan. Deeply saturated at first, the color gradually softens over time, shifting into a quieter, muted tone as it ages.
